GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipes manufactured using Effective Filament Winding technology are available in a broad range of diameters to meet diverse project requirements. The typical internal diameters range from DN 300 mm to DN 4000 mm.

However, larger or smaller diameters can be custom-produced based on specific project needs. The diameter selection often depends on the application, such as water transmission, sewage systems, industrial processing, or irrigation projects.

LENGTHS

Standard GRP pipe lengths are typically 3 meters, 6 meters, 9 meters, or 12 meters.

PRESSURES

GRP pipes are usually classified in PN ratings that indicate their maximum allowable operating pressure

Here’s a practical “pressure-by-diameter” guide for EFW continuous filament-wound GRP . 

• DN 300   – 1000 → UP TO PN 32

• DN 1100 – 1200 → UP TO PN 25

• DN 1400 – 1600 → UP TO PN 20

• DN 1800 – 2400 → UP TO PN 16

• DN 2600 – 3000 → UP TO PN 10

• DN 3200 – 4000 → UP TO PN  6

For special projects, it is possible to design higher-pressure pipes; however, these must be custom-engineered to suit the specific conditions and requirements of the project.
